Airbrush Art
Before Michael had ever heard of computers, he had already spent many years in creating graphics, using the airbrush technique. This is a technique whereby paint is being sprayed on a surface, using an airbrush pistol and an air compressor. Michael started with airbrushing images on motorcycles and mopeds, long ago! later he also began to paint on canvas and airbrus-board. Unfortunately, the coming digital painting technique decreased the popularity of conventional airbrushing firmly, especially in the professional circuit. Many airbrush artists from the past has traded their airbrush pistol for a computer. Fortunately, in recent years the interest in conventional airbrushing is rising again, thanks to some good airbrush teachers that provide thorough training for the students.
A few years ago Michael decided to broaden his horizons of its abilities in the airbrush technique and visited one of the masters in the photo-realistic airbrush art in America. In a couple of weeks he learned this special technique, The final result was a serie of four paintings on the subject of the spiritual connection between the Native American Indians and animals. This series, Michael has also been released as Artprints and can be ordered through this website. Through the special assignment for the Napoleon Hill Foundation, Michael has shifted his airbrush painting to digital Art technology.
